OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LOCAL TRAFFIC ORDINANCE AND TRAFFIC RELATED INCIDENTS REPORT
January 16 to 22, 2023
The number of traffic violations in Balamban has relatively increased by almost 26% compared to the previous week. The Balamban Police has issued a total of 70 traffic citation tickets for the following number of traffic violations during the week: six (6) Expired OR/CR, one (1) No Drivers License, seven (7) No Registration and 63 No Helmet.
Moreover, 8 Traffic Related Incidents (TRIs) have been recorded for the period, (3-RIR Physical Injury and 3-RIR Homicide) and (2-Self Inflict).
PLTCOL GLENN T HIFE, OIC, Balamban MPS addresses the situation by continuing the implementation of the maximum conduct of 24/7 Police Visibility and Crime Prevention in the municpality roads and highways.
The Municipality of Balamban has maintained its low or zero-casualty rate in traffic incidents during the week.
