The Balamban First Invitational (Cebu 3rd District) Inter-town Basketball Tournment officially opens today, Sept. 3, 2022 at the Mayor E.S. Binghay Memorial Sports Complex.
Vice Mayor Alfie Binghay with the SB Members graced the opening of the said tournament.
This invitational inter-town basketball tournament is organized by Mayor Ace Stefan Veloso Binghay and the Balamban Sports Committee as part of the Balamban Sports Fest 2022 in line with the upcoming town fiesta celebration in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Balamban is hosting the basketball games of which the teams from Tuburan, Asturias, Toledo, Pinamungajan, Aloguinsan, Barili and Balamban will compete.
Tonight’s game is between
Tuburan VS Asturias (1st game) and Toledo VS Pinamungajan (2nd game)
Part of the Balamban Sports Fest 2022 are the inter-barangay basketball tournament, volleyball, dayon-dayon, lawn tennis, table tennis, soccer, badminton, sepak takraw and taekwando.
